I want to have a room that is blue, somewhere I can be calm and relaxed in. My current room at home is blue but It's faded and now an ugly shade of baby blue, I want something bolder,darker.
Though a lot of people really like to paint their room in teal, turquoise, sky blue and light cobalt blue. I prefer a dark blue like the last photo :)
Sorry guys I haven't been as active on blogging lately I'm taking summer classes and economics is kicking my arse atm!!

Blue is not so much my favorite color, but I just love love love these designs and photos! As for see more posts of? How about posts about yourself! I'm sure we'd all love to get to know you more. :)

i love turquoise! like the pic with the wall and the black & white photographs. i'm not so sure about the turquoise couch on the other pic. it looks nice, but i don't think i'd enjoy lounging on it. ;P

ReplyDeleteI painted my room at home a light lavender color several years ago. But now I'm in an apartment and we can't paint the walls :( So they are boring white.

ReplyDeleteWhen I was little I always dreamed of room like a directory of furniture. I cut out newspaper photos of various rooms, furniture and worked with them in my little design projects.. haha it was so fun! The blue was always the colour of my bathrooms :).

ReplyDeleteI love your blog! I love the third picture down- but if I could I would switch butterflies for birds. It would be so pretty. These are great ideas- and I agree with you on the darker blue. I think the darker base is great and then you can add lighter blues to really accent it.
